Sound Pointer is a free browser add-on developed by Pedal Point Enterprises. This innovative tool allows you to locate and follow your mouse pointer in the browser window using sound cues. With Sound Pointer, you can quickly find a lost mouse pointer or enhance your browsing experience with an audio element.
To activate the Sound Pointer extension, simply click on the extension icon or use the keyboard shortcut Control+Shift+P (Windows) or Command+Shift+P (Mac). Once activated, you can toggle the sound on and off by clicking the left mouse button. As you move your mouse, the sound changes, providing you with a frequency that corresponds to the location of your pointer.
The pitch of the sound is adjusted by moving the mouse up and down, while panning the sound left or right corresponds to moving the mouse in those directions. Additionally, the volume of the sound increases or decreases as the mouse moves left or right.
